Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is currently preregistering students for fall-semester classes, which will begin August 21. Students who register and pay fees before August 18 can secure their class schedules.
Gulf Coast, a top-100 community college in the nation, offers a variety of academic classes, one- and two-year career and technical programs, and non-credit courses at eight locations throughout its four-county district. Online classes are available for those seeking the convenience of taking classes from home.
Mollie Watts, admissions specialist at Gulf Coast and one of the spokespersons for the college’s new “It’s like this…” advertising and marketing campaign, says that attending Gulf Coast means “life-changing experiences and many opportunities to get involved in student life.” As a Gulf Coast alumna, she believes students will “find academic excellence and personal success at the college. Gulf Coast has so much to offer the communities and individuals within its district. With its world-class instruction and quality in every aspect of college life, it is one of the best values in education. Plus, small class size and one of the lowest tuition rates in the state are hallmarks of an education at Gulf Coast.”
