Dr. Jan Moody
Dr. Jan Moody, dean of instruction at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, has been selected as a member of the Executive Council for The Mississippi Community and Junior College Chief Academic Officers Association. She has served at the Executive Council level for the past five years.
In 2005-06, Moody served as the board member at large, representing all 15 Mississippi community and junior colleges. She then served as treasurer for two consecutive terms. She served as president of the association in 2008-09. She currently serves as board member.
At Gulf Coast, Moody supervises all academic, career and technical programs on the Perkinston Campus, and oversees the Learning Resource Center. She was selected as the Perkinston Campus Administrator of the Year in 2008-09 by the college’s Association of Educational Office Professionals.
