Sarah House works primarily with ceramic materials to create abstract sculpture and installation art inspired by the fractal mathematics of nature. House earned her BFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, and her MFA from Tulane University, graduating from both institutions with honors. She has participated in 8 Artist in Residence programs both nationally and internationally. House is a Windgate Fellow, a Nyburg Fellow, and has been recognized globally for her work while participating in exhibitions across Europe, Asia and North America. House currently resides in New Orleans teaching ceramics at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art, and continues to sculpt in her Bywater studio.
