    This program prepares individuals to work in engineering departments or private firms installing, maintaining, and operating small or medium air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.

  • Automation and Controls Technology

    Automation and Controls Technology is a program that prepares individuals to apply technical skills needed for support of the advanced manufacturing industry.

  • Instrumentation and Control Technology

    The Instrumentation program is designed to prepare graduates for a career in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

  • Maritime Technology

    The Shipfitting and Steel Fabrication program prepares graduates for a range of career options from a Shipfitter to Metal or Steel Fabricator.

  • Maritime Multi-Craft Technology

    Focusing on basic unmanned maritime skills that can be applied to shipbuilding, offshore petroleum/drilling, seafood, transportation, tourism, marine engine, and other maritime occupations, MGCCC will continue to address industry needs through academia and training. Among the industries that are prominent in the unique environment of the Gulf of Mexico, industry partners continuously express the need for a skilled workforce.

  • Unmanned Maritime Systems Technology

    The Unmanned Maritime Systems Technology curriculum is a stackable, credentialed two-year program of study that prepares the graduate to work in jobs with titles such as Unmanned Maritime Systems specialist in career fields for shipbuilding, offshore petroleum/drilling, seafood, transportation, tourism, marine engine, or other maritime heavy industrial occupations on a space available basis. It is designed to train students for a wide range of unmanned maritime systems occupations.

  • Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology

    Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology is an instructional program that prepares individual to shape metal parts on machines such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machines.

  • Process Operations Technology

    Prepare for a job at any processing facility like oil refineries, power plants, drug manufacturers, water treatment plants, food and beverage factories, and more.

  • Electronics Technology

    Electronics Technology provides the instruction necessary for students to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to monitor instrumentation and controls for a variety of processes that include but are not limited to energy or power generation and petroleum refining.

  • Welding Technology

    Prepare for an entry level job as a welder, cutter, solderer, and brazer with a degree in Welding Technology.

    The Light Duty Diesel diploma option offers students an opportunity to specialize in light duty diesel systems after completing the first two semesters of the Automotive Technology program.

    The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology Program is an instructional program that provides students with competencies required to maintain and repair a variety of industrial diesel equipment, including agricultural tractors, commercial trucks, and construction equipment.
