By choosing a concentration, the learner will engage in targeted studies and coursework including an education on the broader and essential underlying principles of the Navigator role.   • Public Health Technology/Navigator Coursework

    The Public Health Technology/Navigator curriculum is a stackable credentialed 2-yr program of study that prepares the graduate to work in jobs with titles such as public health specialist, patient navigator, health insurance navigator, health care advocate, and public health educator.  As a certificate, diploma, and/or academic degree program, the Public Health Technology/Navigator concentration is designed to be compatible with a wide range of health systems, state regulations, and health services delivery models that recognize the value that services provide to enhance the public health of patients and communities.

  • Dietary/Nutritional Navigator Coursework

    The Dietary/Nutritional Navigator curriculum is a stackable credentialed 2-yr program of study that prepares the graduate to work in jobs with titles such as dietary specialist, nutritional navigator, patient navigator, and dietary patient advocate. As a certificate, diploma, and/or academic degree program, the Dietary/Nutritional Navigator concentration is designed to be compatible with a wide range of health and dietary systems, state regulations, and health and nutritional services delivery models that recognize the value that services provide to enhance the dietary and nutritional wellness of patients and communities.

  • Personal/Family Services Navigator Coursework

    The Personal/Family Services Navigator curriculum is a stackable credentialed 2-yr program of study that prepares the graduate to work in jobs with titles such as family specialist, community navigator, patient navigator, and community educator. As a certificate, diploma, and/or academic degree program, the Personal/Family Services Navigator concentration is designed to be compatible with a wide range of community health systems, state regulations, and personal and family services delivery models that recognize the value that services provide to enhance the wellness of individuals, families, and communities.
