Jordan is Student Government Association president, involved in the Campus Activities Board and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He helped spearhead the food pantry project on campus and was active in campus events including Fall Festival, Coastal Clean-up and Bulldog Day.
“I really enjoy my classes and the extracurricular activities on campus at JD,” he said. “Getting involved in activities outside class has helped me get to know so many people here. The college is just a fun place to be.”
He is one of four children, with an older sister, Katelyn; a brother Juan in high school; and a sister, Ava, 8.
“My parents were military when I was growing up, so we have moved all over the place. I really love the Coast, though. I spend a lot of my free time going to the river and participating in water sports.”
He also works at a nutrition store and enjoys working out. “I think it’s important to be a well-rounded person and develop your mind and body,” he said. “It keeps me more balanced when things get stressful.”
