In this one-week summer camp, students between the ages of 10 – 14 will embark on a journey to discover the amazing world of video games!
Through interactive learning sessions, participants will understand what goes into creating their favorite games from preproduction to production, through play-testing, and finally to publishing the game for the world to play and enjoy.
The students will utilize Minecraft for Education as well as Roblox to build elements and scenarios very similar to those found in the industry. Students will explore worlds created in those environments and use the knowledge obtained in the interactive sessions to assist them in creating their very own game or mod. Students will also have the opportunity to explore careers in the video-game industry.
