Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will hold its 2013 Homecoming Celebration Oct. 17-19.

The Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino on Thursday, Oct. 17. On Oct. 18, the Clem Dellenger Memorial Golf Tournament will be played at the Great Southern Golf Club. Homecoming Day events will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Perkinston Campus.

Homecoming Day will include a cookout by the Bell Tower and a pep rally featuring the Bulldog cheerleaders; introduction of the Athletic and Alumni Hall of Fame honorees and the Homecoming Court; special group reunions; children’s activities and a Meet Mac, the MGCCC mascot event; as well as entertainment by Coastal Vibrations. Other scheduled events during the day include the Alumni Art Show; a chapel service with songs performed by the Perkinston Campus Choir; and tours of the college’s Archives, which has exhibits focusing on the college’s history.

Pre-game activities will begin at 1:30 p.m. at A.L. May Memorial Stadium. Kick-off is at 2 p.m., with the Bulldogs playing the Copiah-Lincoln Wolfpack. Halftime activities will include recognition of Homecoming honorees, presentation and crowning of the Homecoming Court, and a performance by the Band of Gold and Perkettes.
