Workforce Development
MGCCC’s Workforce Development program works directly with businesses and industries to deliver technical skills training and leadership/supervision programs for their employees. Learn more about our services and how to partner with MGCCC to recruit, test, and train your workforce.

MIBEST
The MIBEST program offers Mississippi residents, without a high school diploma, the opportunity to enroll in select Career/Technical programs, earning 15 college credits while simultaneously pursing a High School Equivalency. The program is available at all MGCCC campuses and centers, and is offered at no cost for qualifying students for their first semester of attendance.

Adult Education
The Adult Education program gives individuals the opportunity to take classes that prepare them to take a High School Equivalency test and to improve their reading, writing, language and/or math skills.

Career STEP Program
Career Skills Training Education Pathways (Career STEP), is an innovative workforce program that connects individuals to coaching, training, and support services that will place them on a path to self-sufficiency.
Our community programs create an atmosphere that fosters lifelong learning, responsible citizenship, and progressive leadership in a dynamic community. Programs and services are held at eight convenient college facilities, onsite with business partners and teachers as well as online.
