The MGCCC Foundation organizes the Annual Scholarship Gala as our flagship fundraising event. Through this initiative, the MGCCCC foundation raises funds dedicated to scholarships and resources, empowering MGCCC students to achieve success and enhance their college experience.

This event, designed for current high school seniors and parents/supporters, is a great way to learn more about Gulf Coast!
Bulldog Tailgate
Bulldog tailgate is an event for MGCCC employees and their families usually held on the night of the first home football game of the season.
Commencement Ceremonies
MGCCC’s annual commencement ceremonies recognize graduates from the Adult Education program in a special ceremony held yearly. Graduates who have achieved degrees and certificates are recognized in the Annual Commencement Ceremony. Completers from the School of Nursing and Health Professions are recognized in a pinning and recognition ceremony held at the end of Summer, Fall, and Spring Semesters.

Convocation
Faculty and Staff gather for our campus or district-wide employee convocations each year to kick-off the new school year! Campus leaders speak on upcoming changes for the college and speakers present on leadership topics to gear everyone up for a great year with our Gulf Coast Team!
Presidential Reception
Students in their junior and senior years of high school attend the exclusive Presidential Reception where they are able to hear from MGCCC President Dr. Mary Graham, and connect with administration, faculty, and staff in order to learn more about leadership, scholarship, and honors program opportunities.
Experience CTE
This free event provides high school students the opportunity to explore over 50 career and technical programs. Students engage in hands-on activities for programs that lead to high-paying, high-growth jobs.
Festival of Lights
The Festival of Lights is an annual event celebrated at the Perkinston Campus. It is usually held on the first Friday in December and serves as a fun holiday activity for the whole family. Rides and games are complementary and the event is open to the public.
Gradfest
This event provides graduation candidates an opportunity to learn more about applying for graduation, degree plans, financial aid and loan repayment, future university and college options, and joining the alumni association.
Homecoming
From lively festivities that bring smiles to every face, re-engagement of Class Reunion & Special Recognition groups, and the heartfelt recognition of our esteemed Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame honorees, the event is a true embodiment of the spirit and pride that defines our institution. iMPAC Performances
The Immersive Media Performing Arts Center (iMPAC) is a 54,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility located on the Harrison County Campus hosting a variety of performances. Go to https://mgccc.showare.com/ for upcoming performances and tickets.
In the Blue: An Evening in Support of MGCCC Athletics
The annual In the Blue athletics event celebrates the Athletic Hall of Fame and Bulldog Hall of Honor inductees and recognizes the many supporters of our program and student athletes.
Krewe of Blue
The Krewe of Blue Conference, formerly known as the Counselors and Principals Retreat, is an annual event focused on providing our K-12 stakeholders access and knowledge about MGCCC Resources and Programming updates. This event is typically held before the Mardi Gras break and the venue rotates so that our partners have the opportunity to experience our 10 locations and associated programs. Meet the Team
Meet the Team is an energized gathering for students, families, supporters, and employees to cheer on our MGCCC Athletic Teams each school year! This year Meet the Team featured Sports Talk Mississippi, free T-shirts, pizza, and drinks for current MGCCC students.
Spring Reception
Spring Reception celebrates the accomplishments of MGCCC Instructors of the Year and Difference Makers.
Student Leadership Conference
Each Fall, the Harrison County Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College hosts the annual Student Leadership Conference. This event brings student leaders from each of the college’s campuses together at the Immersive Media Performing Arts Center (iMPAC) to fellowship, network, and develop their leadership skills. The Conference is highlighted by a panel discussion consisting of local leaders, engaging breakout sessions, and inspirational words of leadership from our college president.
True Blue
True Blue Experience is an end of the school celebration for our student leaders, including Reflections Team, Student Government Association, and Campus Activities Board. This event is an opportunity to reflect on the year through feedback on how to make the college even better.
Workforce Summit
Industry professionals from the region are invited to be a part of MGCCC’s Workforce and Career Technical Education Advisory Councils and gather at this annual event. Industry input is vital to ensure programs transform to meet industry needs and accelerate the Gulf Coast economy.
