Caroline Ramagos has been named vice president of Advancement and Institutional Relations at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. A Soso native, she was previously vice president of Institutional Advancement at Jones County Junior College and executive director of the JCJC Foundation and Alumni Association.

Dr. Mary S. Graham, announcing the selection of Ramagos, said, “Caroline brings a wealth of knowledge about development and resource building at the college level, and she has the enthusiasm and innovative spirit that I know will make her a great fit at MGCCC. We look forward to her leadership for the Foundation, alumni, marketing and public relations which are all vital areas to the growth of our college.”

Ramagos received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi State University, and has completed additional graduate coursework at The University of Southern Mississippi and Indiana University. Prior to her employment with JCJC, Ramagos worked in the private sector in sales.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to build on the successes at MGCCC and bring a fresh perspective to the college’s development and marketing strategies,” she said. “Gulf Coast is a dynamic place with its 9 campuses and centers, a large student population, and diverse academic and training opportunities. I want to build on the excitement I have already seen evident at MGCCC –from Dr. Graham, employees, students and alumni– to more fully showcase the college’s many great offerings.”
