Mississippi Sound and the Perk Woodwind Ensemble will be performing a Veterans Day Concert in conjunction with Holy Family Children’s Choir and St. Mary Catholic Church Music Ministry. Performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12 at the church in Woolmarket.

“The event, now in its second year, is intended to bring our communities together to honor our veterans through song and music,” said Brandon Ring, Perkinston Campus Fine Arts department chair and choir director. “There will be so many great songs and music that will reflect both a patriotic spirit and a sense of solemnity that reflect all that our military personnel have done for our country.”

Veterans and active-duty military personnel are encouraged to attend the complimentary event in their honor. The public is also invited to attend the patriotic event.
