Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Immersive Performing Arts Center (iMPAC) is thrilled to announce that Keith & Kristyn Getty will perform live in concert on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This special event will feature performances by acclaimed Christian artists Matt Boswell and Matt Papa.

Keith & Kristyn Getty, the renowned hymn writers and GRAMMY®-nominated artists from Northern Ireland, are the founding leaders of the Getty Music organization. Their greatest passion is writing and promoting timeless hymns that resonate with the global Christian community. With iconic songs like “In Christ Alone,” “The Power of the Cross,” “His Mercy Is More,” and “The Lord Is My Salvation,” the Gettys have profoundly impacted worship music across the world.

The Gettys’ musical journey began in 2000 when Keith composed the tune for “In Christ Alone” on the back of a utility bill. Today, they are celebrated for their extensive catalog of beloved hymns, many of which are sung in churches across the United States and the United Kingdom. Their work uniquely bridges musical genres, blending contemporary, classical, folk, and global influences.

The evening will also feature performances by Matt Boswell and Matt Papa, frequent collaborators with the Gettys. Together, they have written and recorded many of the top hymns sung in churches today, including “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death,” “He Will Hold Me Fast,” and “Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery.”
