MGCCC Live Entertainment Technology students to host iMPAC Live Fest on April 5
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Live Entertainment Technology students will host the iMPAC Live Fest, a dynamic showcase of live music and community engagement, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025. The event will kick off at 2 p.m. at the Immersive Media Performing Arts Center on the Harrison County Campus and is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend, as pictures with the Easter Bunny and arts and crafts activities will be available throughout the afternoon.
“This family-friendly festival includes food trucks and a great line up of music including Ra’Shad the Blues Kid, Six String Andrew, The Sharp Sisters and MGCCC’s own concert choir, CSide. We encourage everyone to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy an afternoon of music, food and family fun,” said Bailey Aultman, Live Entertainment Technology instructor at MGCCC.
The iMPAC Live Fest provides students with an exceptional opportunity to apply the lighting and sound skills they have learned in the classroom to a real-world setting.
“This event is a fantastic chance for our students to translate their academic learning into professional experience. I couldn’t be prouder of the creativity and hard work our students are putting into every aspect of the fest,” Aultman added.
