The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Dr. Brad Bailey as the new Vice President of the Perkinston Campus and George County Center. A dedicated member of the MGCCC family since 2007, Dr. Bailey brings a wealth of experience and a student-centered approach to his new leadership role.

Dr. Bailey most recently served as Associate Vice President of Enrollment Strategy & Communication, following his tenure as Dean of Teaching and Learning. Throughout his career at MGCCC, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to educational excellence, innovation, and community engagement.

“Dr. Bailey’s extensive background in higher education, paired with his passion for student success and strategic thinking, make him the perfect choice to lead the Perkinston Campus and George County Center,” said Dr. Mary S. Graham, MGCCC President. “His leadership will be pivotal in advancing our mission and supporting the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.”

A Mississippi native, Dr. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science from Belhaven University, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. He has been actively involved in local, state, and national initiatives aimed at improving student access, retention, and achievement.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to step into this role,” said Dr. Brad Bailey. “The Perkinston Campus and George County Center are at the heart of the college’s history and future. I look forward to working alongside our outstanding faculty, staff, and students to build on our tradition of excellence and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.”

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with his wife, Mandy, and their two children, Hayden and Brett.
