Fans of classic rock and heavy metal are invited to celebrate the music and legacy of one of rock’s most iconic performers when Flying High Again, a premier Ozzy Osbourne tribute band, takes the stage at the Immersive Media Performing Arts Center (iMPAC) on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7 p.m. The facility is located on Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Harrison County Campus at 409 Debuys Road in Gulfport.

Flying High Again delivers a high-energy tribute experience that captures the look, sound, staging and excitement of a live Ozzy Osbourne concert. Founded in 2019 by five lifelong Ozzy fans, the band was created after Osbourne announced the cancellation of future touring plans due to health concerns. Since then, Flying High Again has been dedicated to honoring the legendary performer by recreating the excitement, audience interaction and musical intensity that made Ozzy’s concerts unforgettable.

“We’re excited to create an experience where fans can come together, enjoy great music and celebrate an artist who has had such a lasting impact on rock culture,” said Aaliyah Dock-Caldwell, director of HRM and iMPAC business development.

Throughout the evening, audiences will hear many of Ozzy Osbourne’s most popular songs spanning his more than 50-year career, including music from his solo career and his groundbreaking work as a founding member of Black Sabbath. The tribute show is designed to engage longtime fans while introducing younger audiences to the music and influence of one of heavy metal’s most recognizable voices.

Known as the “Prince of Darkness,” Osbourne helped define the heavy metal genre and became a global cultural icon through his music, larger-than-life stage presence and enduring influence on generations of rock musicians.

In addition to providing an entertaining night of live music, the event supports MGCCC’s commitment to community engagement by bringing together students, employees and community members for a shared cultural experience. Events hosted at iMPAC also provide opportunities for students to gain valuable hands-on experience in event planning, production, media and performance.
