Fall Festival Flyers for JC and HC

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Harrison County and Jackson County campuses will host their annual Fall Festivals on Tuesday, October 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. Both events are open to the public.

Designed for families with children of all ages as well as MGCCC students, the festivals provide a safe and festive environment for the community to celebrate the fall season while enjoying activities on the college campuses.

Both festivals will feature Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m., where children can collect candy from decorated trunks hosted by MGCCC student organizations, local businesses, and community organizations.  There will also be children’s games and activities, a selfie station (at the Harrison County Campus only), a dance party and more. Food trucks will also be available at each location.

“We’re happy to host this fun event for the entire family and community,” said Audra Thompson, Student Life coordinator at the Jackson County Campus. “It’s a place for safe trick-or-treating, children’s games and activities, and a wide variety of food trucks and other fun activities.”

The Jackson County Campus Fall Festival will be held at 2300 U.S. 90 in Gautier. For more information, contact Thompson at audra.thompson1@mgccc.edu.

“The Fall Festival gives us a wonderful opportunity to welcome families from throughout the community to our campus,” said Heather Walker, Student Life coordinator at the Harrison County Campus. “We look forward to providing a fun, family-friendly evening where our students, employees and community members can come together and enjoy the festivities.”

The Harrison County Campus Fall Festival will be held at 2226 Switzer Road in Gulfport. For more information about the Harrison County Campus event, contact Walker at heather.walker@mgccc.edu.
