University Transfer Preparation

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is a comprehensive community college offering University Transfer Preparation that is designed to meet the needs of students who expect to transfer to a four-year college or university after graduating from MGCCC.  University Transfer Preparation leads to the MGCCC Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees.

MGCCC participates in the Articulation Agreement between Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning and the Mississippi Community College Board. This agreement has been adopted to help students understand which courses at MGCCC will transfer for credit toward a bachelor’s degree at public universities throughout Mississippi.  Students enrolling in University Transfer Preparation should consult the college catalog and any applicable articulation agreements for the four-year College or university they plan to attend for assistance in planning the courses to be taken at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
