Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the Stone County Board of Supervisors will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the New Entrance Boulevard to the Perkinston Campus on Monday, October 1, 2018.  The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. on Wire Road opposite from MGCCC’s King Center.

The new entrance to MGCCC’s Perkinston Campus includes a four-lane road that runs directly from Highway 49 to the campus north of Perkinston Elementary School, the Community Arts Center and the college’s Print Shop.

“Because of the partnership with the Stone County Board of Supervisors and their continuing support of the college, the New Entrance Boulevard will allow MGCCC students and employees to have safer and more convenient access to campus,” said Dr. Mary S. Graham, MGCCC president.  “The boulevard will also allow area residents and parents of students at Perkinston Elementary to have a much-improved route to the school and other areas.”
