About The Team

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Dance Team, historically known as the Perkettes, is the official dance team of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Established in 1952, the Perkettes are proud members of the MGCCC Band of Gold, embodying tradition, precision, and excellence. The MGCCC Dance Team promotes Bulldog Pride and Spirit at a variety of athletic and community events, including football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, pep rallies, parades, and more. Additionally, the team competes annually at the national level in their own discipline at the UDA Collegiate National Championship in Orlando, FL.
