HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
Israel is currently a high school student and is interested in getting a head start on his college education. He may be eligible to take dual credit offered at his high school, enroll in dual enrollment courses through MGCCC, or work toward completing an associate degree by participating in the Collegiate Academy program. To get started, Israel will need to apply for admission, consult with his high school counselor to confirm eligibility requirements, and submit the Concurrent Enrollment Verification Form, which he will receive from his counselor, in order to register for classes.

Noah is a homeschooled student who wants to take college courses at MGCCC at a discounted tuition rate while completing his high school education. He can enroll part-time through the Homeschool Academy program. To begin, he should submit an application for admission.

NEW STUDENT
RECENT HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE
Ella graduated from high school this year and will be starting as a new student at Gulf Coast. Although she has taken dual enrollment and dual credit courses, she has never been a full-time college student. To enroll, Ella must apply for admission and either attend an orientation session or visit an Enrollment Services Center location to register for classes. If you are under 21 and have never attended college, you will follow the same steps as Ella.

Ashley is over 21 and has not attended MGCCC or any other college or university for two years or more. She will need to submit a new admissions application and then visit an Enrollment Services Center to register for courses.

MILITARY STUDENT
ADULT/MILITARY STUDENT
Brian is an adult military student planning to use his education benefits. He has never attended MGCCC or any other college or university. To get started, Brian should apply for admission submit the required documentation to verify his eligibility for education benefits, and visit an Enrollment Services Center to register for classes. For help with using his benefits and to learn more about available military support services, he can contact the Office of Military Services.

Elijah was enrolled at MGCCC during the previous semester. He does not need to complete a new admissions application. Elijah can re-enroll in courses by connecting with his advisor through Canvas or by visiting any Enrollment Services Center location. Elijah does not need to complete a new admissions application. He should also apply for Foundation Scholarships.

Kate is currently attending another college or university as her primary institution but would like to take one or more classes at MGCCC in a single semester to transfer back to her primary institution. She will need to complete a new admissions application, submit her most recent transcript or a letter of good standing from her primary institution to the Admissions office, and then visit an Enrollment Services Center to register for classes.
