CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
Israel is currently in high school but is looking to get a jump-start on his college coursework. He may be eligible to take dual credit courses offered at his school, dual enrollment courses offered at MGCCC, or complete his associates degree by participating in the Collegiate Academy program. Israel will need to apply for admission, connect with his high school counselor about eligibility requirements, and submit the concurrent enrollment verification form in order to be registered for classes.

HOMESCHOOL STUDENT
Jack is a homeschool student interested in taking classes at MGCCC at a discounted tuition rate while simultaneously completing his high school curriculum. He can take college courses part-time by enrolling in the Homeschool Academy program. To get started, he can apply for admission.

RECENT HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE
Jansen graduated from high school this year and will be a new student at Gulf Coast. He has taken dual enrollment and dual credit courses but has never been a full-time student. Jansen will need to apply for admission to the college and will need to attend an orientation session or visit an Enrollment Services Center location to register for classes. If you are under the age of 21 and have never attended college before then you will follow Jansen’s path.

ADULT STUDENT/NON-TRADITIONAL
Katherine is over the age of 21 and has not been enrolled at MGCCC or another college/university for 2 years or longer. She will need to complete a new admissions application and then visit an Enrollment Services Center to enroll in courses.
ADULT/MILITARY STUDENT
Atika is also an adult military student that plans to utilize her education benefits and she has never attended college at MGCCC or at any other college/university. Atika should apply for admission to the college, review and submit her education eligibility requirements, and visit an Enrollment Services Center location to register for classes.

CURRENT STUDENT
Carmella was enrolled at MGCCC this past semester. She can re-enroll in courses by visiting with her advisor via Canvas or she can register for classes at any Enrollment Services Center location. Carmella does not need to complete a new admissions application. Carmella should also apply for Foundation Scholarships.
RETURNING STUDENT
Hailey has previously taken courses at MGCCC but was not recently enrolled. She is wanting to re-enroll in classes at MGCCC. Hailey will need to complete a new admissions application and then visit an Enrollment Services Center to enroll in courses.
TRANSFER STUDENT
Fred attended another college/university and is now planning to transfer to MGCCC. Fred would need to complete a new admissions application and then visit an Enrollment Services Center to enroll in courses.
