Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College had a successful registration Aug. 19-20, with more than 10,189 students enrolled for fall 2013.  Full-term and first-term classes began Wednesday, Aug. 21. Registration for late-start classes and second-term/short-term classes continues.

“The beginning of the fall semester is always an exciting time for us, signaling the beginning of many things for our students,” said Dr. Mary S. Graham, MGCCC president. “For some, it is their first time in college. For others, it is the start of a new year with new possibilities. And as always, we are thrilled to continue providing outstanding educational opportunities to the residents of our four-county district.”

Flexible class schedules, including traditional, online, short-term and weekend classes, allow students to tailor fit their education to their needs. Convenient locations throughout George, Harrison, Jackson and Stone counties, exceptional programs, and instructional excellence play vital roles in student success.
