MGCCC offers high school and homeschool students three ways to earn college credit while completing their high school diploma. These programs are available at select high schools in George, Harrison, Jackson and Stone counties.
Qualified high school students who would like to participate in the college’s dual-enrollment/dual-credit program can Apply Now. Visit Collegiate Academy and contact an advisor to learn about entry to this program.
To enroll in the Dual Credit program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Student must be classified as an incoming high school junior or senior.
- For students enrolling in dual credit academic courses, the student must have a minimum unweighted high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
- For students enrolling in dual credit career and technical education courses, the student must be classified as a sophomore with a minimum 2.0 unweighted grade point average on a 4.0 grading scale.
- Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA in MGCCC coursework to remain in concurrent enrollment courses.
*If the student does not meet the above criteria, the student may enter the program if he/she has achieved a minimum composite score of 30 on the ACT test. If meeting the ACT test requirement, official scores must be submitted to the Admissions Office.

- Submit the Concurrent Enrollment Verification Form signed by their high school counselor stating that the student has met the requirements
- Provide official high school transcript indicating grades through the last semester of attendance.
- Students in academic courses with minimum ACT requirements will need to submit their ACT or Accuplacer scores.
Cost of Attendance: $100 per class for academic courses and $125 per class for career and technical courses*

To enroll in DE courses, students can visit an MGCCC Enrollment Services Center.

Students planning to take concurrent enrollment courses must discuss course selection with their high school counselor and a Collegiate Academy Counselor prior to registration.
