MGCCC Harrison County Players to present “The Three Musketeers” by Ken Ludwig
The Harrison County Players at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College are set to bring a swashbuckling adventure to life with their thrilling production of Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers. Based on Alexandre Dumas’ legendary novel, this fast-paced adaptation promises an evening of action, romance, and intrigue that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The play will be performed in the Fine Arts Auditorium at MGCCC’s Harrison County Campus. The production runs from February 20 through February 23, 2025, with performances scheduled as follows:
- February 20-22 at 7:00 PM
- February 23 at 2:00 PM
Audiences can expect an electrifying display of high-energy fight choreography, daring sword fights, and lavish period costumes that bring 17th-century France to vivid life. The story follows the fearless young D’Artagnan, who journeys to Paris in search of adventure and soon finds himself embroiled in a dangerous web of political conspiracies, secret duels, and villainous plots.
With the aid of the legendary Musketeers—Athos, Porthos, and Aramis—D’Artagnan must fight to protect the honor of France, rescue a kidnapped queen, and confront the ruthless Cardinal Richelieu and his deadly spies.
“Our production of The Three Musketeers captures the spirit of camaraderie, heroism, and the pure joy of imaginative storytelling,” said Ryan Pierini, director and theater instructor at the campus. “We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable evening where every duel and every moment of intrigue is designed to ignite your sense of adventure.”
