J. Allen Ford donates vehicle to MGCCC’s Automotive Technology program

Allen Ford donated a brand-new Ford F-150 to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Automotive Technology program during a special ceremony on September 5 at the college’s Harrison County Campus.
The truck will serve as a hands-on training tool, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable experience running diagnostics, learning advanced automotive systems, and performing repairs on a state-of-the-art vehicle. The donation will help ensure that graduates of the program are workforce-ready and highly skilled in the latest technologies.
Jonathan Allen, owner of J. Allen Ford, emphasized the importance of the partnership. “We are excited about our partnership between J. Allen Automotive and the MGCCC Automotive Technology program! Donating a new F150 will help students get to work on modern age vehicles so they will be better prepared to join the workforce of much needed automotive technicians.”
MGCCC President Dr. Mary S. Graham expressed gratitude for the gift. “We are extremely grateful to J. Allen Ford for their generosity and vision,” Graham said. “This donation provides our students with an invaluable resource that directly enhances their learning experience. Partnerships like this strengthen our programs and ensure our students are prepared to excel in their future careers.”
The Automotive Technology program at MGCCC’s Harrison County Campus trains students in the latest automotive systems, preparing them for high-demand jobs in the automotive service industry.
