Today, John lives in Houston and serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Casino Division, for Landry’s/Fertitta Entertainment. Since late 2020, he has overseen due diligence for new casino acquisitions nationwide, evaluating their value and managing financing, as well as overseeing analysis, expenses, and revenue budgets for the company’s properties. In his role, he works closely with owner Tilman J. Fertitta, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and U.S. Ambassador to Italy and San Marino.

John’s career has included senior leadership positions with Golden Nugget Biloxi, Boomtown Biloxi, Island View Casino, and Isle of Capri, where he gained both domestic and international experience. His expertise and strategic insight have made him a respected figure in the casino and entertainment industry.

Beyond his professional achievements, John has been deeply committed to service in his community. He served seven years on the Board of Advisors for The Salvation Army in South Mississippi and was a member of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, South Mississippi Region.
