A Biloxi High School alumna, Guice arrived at the Perkinston Campus in 2011 and immediately made her mark. As a freshman, she helped lead the Bulldogs to a historic season, capturing both the MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 championships. The Bulldogs edged Hinds 1-0 in the conference semifinals before defeating archrival Pearl River in the title match. They secured the first Region 23 title in program history with a dramatic 1-0 overtime win over Meridianat Perk.
That season, the Bulldogs posted a 16-5 record, falling only to eventual national champion Tyler in the NJCAA Southern District title match. Guice contributed six goals and three assists during the campaign, playing a crucial role on both ends of the field.
In her sophomore season, Guice continued to lead by example. Though the Bulldogs narrowly missed postseason play, she recorded five goals and three assists and was honored as the team’s Most Valuable Player. She also earned All-Region 23 honors and was named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-American, recognizing her excellence on the pitch and in the classroom.
Following her time at Gulf Coast, Guice played two more seasons at William Carey University, where she continued her academic and athletic success. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from WCU before pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at The University of South Alabama, which she completed in 2019.
Today, Blair Guice Aderhold applies the same drive and dedication that fueled her soccer career to her professional life. She serves the Gulfport community as a physical therapist with Powerback Rehabilitation to You, helping others recover and regain strength.
