Picayune Theatre Company brings its dazzling production of “Legally Blonde: The Musical” to the iMPAC in Gulfport for a full weekend of performances on March 27–29th 2026.

Under the direction and production of Nathan Sandercock, Picayune Theatre Company continues its mission of showcasing exceptional Mississippi talent while producing large-scale musicals in premier venues across the state. Now in its third season, the company has quickly earned a reputation for delivering high-quality, professional productions that rival touring shows, while remaining deeply rooted in the local arts community.

The Musical is a vibrant, uplifting adaptation of the hit film, featuring catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and a powerful message about confidence, perseverance, and breaking stereotypes. While staying true to the spirit of the movie, the musical adds new depth and emotion that makes Elle’s journey even more inspiring on stage.

From laugh-out-loud moments to heartfelt scenes, this high-energy, feel-good production is perfect for a girls’ night out, a family outing, or anyone who loves musical theatre.

Leading the cast is Katelyn Perry as Elle Woods, bringing humor, heart, and vocal strength to the role audiences know and love. Katelyn Perry is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Communications and is currently pursuing a master’s in integrated marketing communications.

A lifelong Mississippi Gulf Coast resident, she currently lives in Biloxi and works as Events Manager for the historic Markham Hotel in downtown Gulfport. She is Miss Leaf River Valley and will compete for the title Miss Mississippi in June. During her time in the Miss America Organization, Katelyn has earned multiple Talent Preliminary Awards, Top 10 and Top 5 placements, and the Quality-of-Life Award for her advocacy with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Katelyn is the founder of the nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit Crowns for a Cause and the creator of Gulf Coast on Broadway, an annual concert that has raised over $20,000 for CMN Hospitals.
