Mississippi Sound
A newly rebranded, collegiate ROCK BAND! This group’s focus is community outreach and performance throughout our district and more! MS Sound will be comprised of vocalists, lead and rhythmic guitarists, a bass guitarist, drum set player, pianist/keyboardist, and five (5) vocalists.
Mississippi Voices
NEWLY REBRANDED as Perkinston’s chamber/pop a cappella group; singing works by Palestrina to Pentatonix! MS Voices is a SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass), auditioned group.
Perk Singers
Perk Singers is our non-auditioned concert choir! Any and all levels of singers are welcomed. This group sings a variety of genres and languages, and performs various concerts throughout the year. There is opportunity for scholarship if a singer chooses to audition for a scholarship.

Spring 2026 Auditions
Choir auditions will be held April 9th and 10th, 2026, at Gregory War Memorial Chapel on the Perkinston Campus. Registration begins at 2:30 PM, with auditions beginning at 3:30 PM.
Auditions will include:
- Sight reading
- Solo Performance (art song, musical theatre, or pop)
- Rhythmic Reading
- Prepared piece
