Experience the Community of Campus Living
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College offers comfortable, affordable, and safe student housing on our Perkinston Campus.
The Perkinston Campus currently has a male and female waiting list for the fall 2018 semester. Any student who wishes may begin a housing application and pay the online, non-refundable, $50 application fee. Once that payment is made, the student will automatically be added to the fall 2018 Housing Waiting List. Housing staff will continue to make assignments from the waiting list to cancelled spaces throughout the summer. Students should check their student email accounts for housing updates related to assignments and waiting list information.
MGCCC housing staff will not have information specific to student placement on the waiting list, as the list changes daily due to cancellations and new applicant payment submissions.
In order to apply for housing at MGCCC, you must:
- Have an active application for admissions.
- Have your admissions status complete.
- Not have any financial, disciplinary, or other holds on your account.
- Be registered for 15 or more hours in the semester you are selecting for housing.

Residence Hall/Room Selection
Within the roommate selection process, you will verify information and answer profile questions. Please do your best to answer the questions as truthfully as possible. Students that do not have a roommate choice have the ability to search for students with similar likes and dislikes. You may also have the Residence Life Staff to assign you a compatible roommate. While every effort is made to honor your hall and/or roommate preference, the Office of Residence Life reserves the right to make hall/room assignments and whatever re-assignments or adjustments that may be deemed necessary.
If you did not live on campus the semester previous to the semester you are applying for, please be prepared to make an online nonrefundable $50 application fee. Your room selection will not be processed if the fee is not paid.
