Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment allows students to earn college credit while still in high school. Students enrolled in dual enrollment courses take these courses online or at an MGCCC campus/center location. The full MGCCC course schedule is offered and available to these students.
Program Requirements
To enroll in the Dual Enrollment program, students must meet the following requirements:
Academic
- Students must be classified as a high school junior or senior.
- Students must have a minimum unweighted high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Career & Technical (CTE)
- Students must be classified as a high school sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Student must have a minimum 2.0 unweighted grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 grading scale.
In accordance with Mississippi Department of Education guidelines, students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in their MGCCC coursework to remain eligible for concurrent enrollment courses.
How To Enroll
- Complete the FREE online MGCCC Admissions Application
- Meet with your high school counselor
- Submit Concurrent Enrollment Verification Form signed by your high school counselor
- Submit your test scores (ACT or Accuplacer)
- Submit your High School Transcript
- Contact your Collegiate Academy campus contact to register for classes!
Cost of Attendance
MGCCC’s standard tuition and fees apply to these courses.
The cost structure for dual enrollment classes at MGCCC or online is the same as regular classes, including any applicable tuition rates, registration fees, and other associated expenses.
