Explore no-cost artificial intelligence (AI) learning options for Mississippi workforce members, students, educators, and MGCCC employees. Current options include six MAIN Quick Courses and four additional online courses. Eligible K–12 educators may earn up to 2.4 CEUs through AI for Educators, while the additional courses offer 0.5 or 1.0 CEU upon successful completion.

Before requesting access, you must complete the applicable registration process. Non-MGCCC participants must create or log in to an MGCCC Workforce Solutions account and complete checkout. MGCCC employees must register through Web Services. Access cannot be granted until registration is complete.

How to register

Use these steps if you are a Mississippi workforce member, student, educator, or other non-MGCCC employee participant.

Step 1: Create your profile

Go to MGCCC Workforce Solutions.
Click Create a New Account.
Select Student Profile (single user) as the profile type and click Submit.
Complete each required profile step, including all required information for the new student profile.

Step 2: Find classes and check out

Log in at MGCCC Workforce Solutions.
Select Browse All Courses.
Select AI for Workforce from the menu.
Find the course or courses you want, such as Generative AI, AI in Manufacturing, AI in Healthcare, AI in Business, AI in Cybersecurity, AI for Educators (K–12), Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google AI Professional Certificate, ChatGPT Foundations for Teachers, or Claude: Real-World AI for Everyone.
Click Add to Cart.
Go to View Cart and complete Checkout.
After registering, wait for a confirmation email.

Important: Make sure you entered the correct Discount Code (Class Unlock Key) when creating your profile.

How to access your course

Use your MGCCC credentials to access your course.
Go to mgccc.edu and select MyGulfCoast. Log in using your MGCCC credentials and authenticate using the Microsoft app.
From the MGCCC dashboard, select eLearning on the left navigation panel.
Select Canvas to navigate to the Canvas dashboard.
Locate your course on the Canvas dashboard and click the class.
Read the home page and click Get Started!

Tips for navigating Canvas

Make sure your dashboard is on Card View, not List View.
If you do not see the course, select Courses in Global Navigation, choose All Courses, and add the star to the course you want to appear on the Canvas dashboard.

Help and troubleshooting

Courses not visible? Check the unlock key first.

If you do not see any courses, make sure you added the Discount Code (Class Unlock Key) to your profile.

Log in to MGCCC Workforce Solutions.
Click My Profile on the left side of the screen.
Under Student Profile Review, click Edit Profile at the top. If you do not see it, make sure you are under the My Profile tab.
Click the Step-3 tab.
Scroll to Class unlock keys. Ensure the appropriate key is there. If not, input the key and click Submit.
Go back to All Classes, find AI for Workforce, add available courses to your cart, and complete checkout.

What if I do not see the course after enrolling?

If you do not see an email from MGCCC Continuing Education (lumens@mgccc.edu), check spam or junk folders.

Credentials to access the Canvas course will be provided shortly after enrollment. New Canvas student accounts are updated at the top of each hour. For example, if you sign up at 3:23 PM, you may not be able to log in until 4:00 PM.
