Earn Your High School Equivalency While Taking College Classes
Would you like to start a new career but don’t have a high school diploma?
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College offers Mississippi residents, without a high school diploma, the opportunity to enroll in select Career/Technical programs, earning college credits while simultaneously pursuing a High School Equivalency (HSE). The available HSE exams are the GED and the HiSET. You can learn more about Mississippi’s MIBEST program at https://skillupmississippi.com/mibest/.
The MIBEST program is available at MGCCC College Campuses and Centers, affording students all rights and privileges of full-time students. The MIBEST program is offered at No Cost to qualifying students for their first semester of attendance. MIBEST students are then encouraged to continue their educational pursuit by enrolling in the following semester as a full-time college student or seeking full-time employment.
Who is Eligible
Mississippi residents without a high school diploma and who are 17 years of age or older.
Cost
There is No Cost for the first semester of attendance.
