An introduction to problem solving methods, algorithm development, designing, debugging, and documentation in C++ language with a variety of applications including 1/0 statements, operators, conditional, looping, methods/functions, and array processing. (Course has a required lab component.) Prerequisite: MAT 1313 or MAT 1314 and CSC 1213, previous programming experience or permission of instructor. (4,3,2)
