Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its associate degree nursing program and practical nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5th in the conference room of the Bryant Center located at 19330 Hwy. 67 Biloxi, Mississippi 39532.

The LPN to RN – Hybrid Option is designed to assist qualified LPNs with the transition to RN practice via a hybrid learning environment (both online classes and a face-to-face classroom setting).

LPNs accepted into the hybrid option are awarded fourteen (14) semester hours of credit for previous nursing education. After successfully completing the summer transition course, NUR 1116, students accepted into the hybrid option will by-pass the first year courses required of ADN prelicensure graduates.
