Dental Assisting Technology

to the Bryant Center at TraditionThe Dental Assisting Technology (DAT) Program is a one-year technical program designed to prepare the student for employment and advancement in the dental assisting field. The curriculum requires 46 semester hours of courses that include lecture hours, lab hours, and supervised clinical experiences. During clinical experiences, students will assist the dentist chairside in private practice offices, clinics, and state facilities as applicable.

Dental Hygiene Technology

to the Bryant Center at TraditionThe Dental Hygiene Technology Program (DHT) is a two-year technical program offered in a face-to-face platform with didactic and clinicals based at the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center. DHT offers general education and clinical dental hygiene experience to prepare one for a career in the dental hygiene profession. All phases of dental hygiene education are covered and practiced by clinical experience.
