Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Jefferson Davis Campus will hold its Spring Blood Drive April 4-5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the campus gymnasium. During the blood drive, the campus will sponsor three or four children with various forms of cancer, all patients at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.

Last year, the campus was selected as the Community College of the Year by Mississippi Blood Services. During a two-day drive, they collected 116 units of blood, allowing four children at Batson Children’s Hospital to receive $10,000 sponsorships each for their blood products.
