Student working in the bookstore on Jefferson Davis Campus

This fall, students at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Collegewill have an outstanding opportunity to pay for college by working at the Jefferson Davis Campus.  The Work4College Scholarship, set up as a privately funded MGCCC Foundation Scholarship, will provide students the opportunity to work in a variety of locations around the campus.  Once they have completed the program, their tuition costs will be covered for the semester.

“At Gulf Coast, we want to help our students attain a college education without incurring a large student debt,” said Dr. Cedric Bradley, vice president of the Jefferson Davis Campus.  “This scholarship provides them a way to work in a pleasant atmosphere, right on campus, and work around their class and study schedule. That is an excellent offer for any student!”

The Work4College Scholarship can also be combined with other scholarships. Like other performance scholarships, students are expected to complete the program successfully for tuition payment to occur.

Applications are being taken now for Fall 2020.  To apply, students should contact Blythe King, dean of Business Services, at (228) 897-3824 or blythe.king@mgccc.edu.
