MGCCC Foundation concludes scholarship campaign with more than $216,000 raised
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Foundation completed its Summer of Giving campaign on August 15, raising money for student scholarships at MGCCC. Last year, the Foundation funded scholarships for 1,015 students. The annual Scholarship Gala, the Foundation’s primary scholarship fundraiser, will resume in 2023, with a celebration and donor-recognition ceremony planned for April 29th at the Beau Rivage.
“We are excited that so many sponsors helped us raise these all-important funds for Gulf Coast student scholarships,” said Dr. Suzi Brown, executive vice president of Institutional Advancement. “We truly appreciate what these sponsors are doing to support the Foundation. Many of our students would struggle to pay for college without this assistance.”
