Get Started
Ready to begin your journey with MGCCC Adult Education? Orientation is your starting point!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Getting Started: Orientation is mandatory for all new Adult Education students. During this session, students will complete the TABE placement assessment in Reading, Language, and Math. The results help instructors identify each student’s current skill levels and tailor instruction to address individual learning needs. TABE scores are also used to determine eligibility for the MIBEST program.
- Personalized Scheduling: Based on your assessment results, we will help you schedule your classes to ensure you are placed in the right program path for success.
- Eligibility Requirements:
- You must meet the Citizenship/Immigration Verification status to determine eligibility for the Adult Education Program.
- You must be at least 16 years of age.
- You must not be currently enrolled in public school.
- Students under the age of 18 are required to bring appropriate documentation (call us for details!).
- The Best Part? Both the Orientation session and all Adult Education classes are offered to you absolutely free of charge!
Call (228) 897-4399 to schedule your orientation session.
