Finish in 4
MGCCC launched a comprehensive ‘Finish in Four’ campaign encouraging students to take 15 credit hours a term so they could be set on a trajectory of earning an associates degree in four terms. The institution implemented a tuition policy which provides financial incentive to students who take 15+ credit hours. Internal data provides evidence that students who take 15 or more credit hours at the institution their first term are more likely to be retained and graduate from the institution.
Target Outcome: MGCCC has set a goal for 70% of first time entering students to complete 15 credit hours in the Fall term, and thereby, be on a path earning a degree and ‘Finishing in Four.’
