Early Childhood Education Center
MGCCC’s Early Childhood Education Center at the Harrison County Campus provides high quality, low-cost child care for the children of MGCCC students. We serve children from 12 months old through Pre-K.
Our teachers have received an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) and are CPR Certified. All of our centers are licensed with Mississippi Department of Health.
What Parents Can Expect
Parents can expect their children to be part of a developmentally appropriate learning environments, with educated teaching staff skilled in learning through play teaching methods, health and safety standards are maintained, teachers are building school readiness skills through the implementation of the Mississippi Early Learning Standards, and the developing self-help and self-regulation skills.
Cost
$75 per week
The center accepts approved child care certificates through the MS Department of Human Services.
Hours
Monday – Friday
7:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Open during the regular academic school year. Closed during summer and other school breaks.
