This course is a continuation of Interpreting: English to American Sign Language I. This class will cover the role of the sign language interpreter, the Code of Professional Conduct, and standard practices. It is designed to allow students to explore approaches for extracting meaning from the source message of English and find equivalents in the target message of American Sign Language (ASL). This course will continue to develop vocabulary, grammar, speed, and interpreting techniques. Corequisite: IDT 2243 (3,3,0)
