Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED
The Heartsaver blended course is designed to provide the layperson (not a healthcare provider) a course completion card for employment or other requirements. Heartsaver Blended courses include an online portion and a hands on session. The online portion is self-paced. The skills session is completed in a classroom setting. Student must be physically able to perform CPR, have access to a computer, and be able to read and write for successful completion of the course. Cost: $75.00
NON-CREDIT PROGRAM
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED non-credit course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
This non-credit course teaches:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- *Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
