In an elite group of six MGCCC students selected for this prestigious opportunity, Brian is turning his passion for space exploration into a reality.

“I plan to take what I learned from the NCAS program and apply the information towards a career at NASA,” Brian shares with unwavering determination.

His journey with NCAS was sparked by a simple announcement from his Calculus 3 instructor, Mrs. Angela Sims. Intrigued, Brian decided to seize the opportunity, and the experience has been nothing short of transformative.

Having successfully navigated NCAS Mission Two, Brian is setting his sights even higher aiming for a NASA internship, specifically the esteemed Pathways Internship Program.

“Once I graduate with my degree in mechanical engineering, I plan to go into aerospace as an engineer at NASA, which has been my dream since I was a child,” he said.

Brian attributes much of his success to the exceptional mentors and instructors who have guided him along the way. A glowing letter of recommendation from his Honors College advisor, Mr. Miller, played a crucial role in his NCAS application. Additionally, Brian recognizes the invaluable guidance of his English instructors, particularly Mr. Barton, who equipped him with the writing skills necessary to eloquently articulate his reflections and research on NASA’s missions, goals, and technology.

For Brian Louis, the sky is not the limit; it’s just the beginning. As he continues to pursue his dream of contributing to NASA’s groundbreaking work, Brian stands as a shining example of dedication, ambition, and the extraordinary opportunities that can unfold on the path of academic excellence.
