Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will host the 3rd annual Holiday Hobnob and Cookie Competition on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Hospitality Resort Management (HRM) Center in Biloxi from 6:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

Holiday Hobnob is a different kind of “tasting” event. This event is open to the public and guests will enjoy cookies and holiday sides prepared by MGCCC’s very own Culinary and Baking & Pastry Arts students. Proceeds benefit the Jefferson Davis Campus’ scholarship fund and two students will win a $500.00 scholarship or culinary knife kit at the event. Second place is a $200 scholarship and third place is $100 scholarship. Tickets are $35.00 and include food, live music, cocktails and good times. There’s no other place on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where you can celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Mardi Gras all in one night.

Additionally, there will be tickets available for a special raffle featuring Chef Todd Reilly. One lucky winner will receive a three course dinner prepared by Chef Todd for up to six people. Sixteen second place winners will receive invitations to a Healthy Cooking Class offered by Healthy Learning Environment MGC-3 coordinator Hillary Levens. Raffle tickets are only $5 a piece or three for $10. You do not need to be present to win.

Tickets to the event and raffle tickets are on sale at the HRM Center prior to the event.
