The EmployED 2025 Scholarship provides funding for full tuition and fees scholarships (valued at $2,350) for students pursuing training in advanced manufacturing programs through the generous support of the American Association of Community Colleges and General Motors Corporate Giving.

The EmployED Initiative supports community college efforts to align student talent with emerging and current advanced manufacturing industry needs. This initiative is designed to help students gain the technical skills and credentials necessary to enter or upskill in the manufacturing workforce.

With this scholarship funding, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will award 15 full scholarships to students enrolled in Precision Manufacturing and Machining and/or Welding programs for the Fall 2025 semester.
