Two-Factor Authentication Setup Instructions
Changes to Microsoft Authenticator App
To enhance security measures for two-factor authentication (2FA), Microsoft is implementing a modification to its Authenticator App. Instead of simply tapping Yes, that’s me upon logging in, users will now be prompted to input a specific number received during the authentication process. Review New steps for the Microsoft Authenticator App for details.
You will be prompted to register for 2FA based on your location when you first login to one of the college’s online services:

Instructions
Please note that you will have to access the physical device you have selected for 2FA or you will not be able to login. For example, if you select to receive a phone call to your home or office phone, you will not be able to login away from your home or office. The Microsoft Authenticator app is highly recommended. Review the document Adding 2FA Sign-in Methods to add backup methods for logging in when you are not able to access your primary device such as your cell phone.
