Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its associate degree nursing program and practical nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5th in the conference room of the Bryant Center located at 19330 Hwy. 67 Biloxi, Mississippi 39532.

The Practical Nursing (PN) program is designed to allow MGCCC nursing students the option to choose the nursing career path that is best suited to current needs. The program includess one semester of prerequisites and three semesters of nursing coursework. The curriculum consists of nursing courses included in the first year of the ADN prelicensure program as well as one semester of PNV courses offered during the spring and summer semesters.

ADN Prelicensure students may declare the Practical Nursing track by completing the PNV required courses during the Spring or Summer semester. *
