Computer Programming Technology Cloud Services Option
Cloud Services is an option for Computer Programming Technology and is designed as a two-year program of study to prepare the student for entry-level employment. Computer Programmers create, modify, test, and maintain software and applications by writing code in specific programming languages. Cloud Service Developers analyze business requirements and utilize various languages in order to develop applications within cloud-based systems. The Cloud Services option is designed to prepare students for employment in computer operations, systems analysis, software development, web development, mobile application development, cloud development, and cloud administration.
This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with an MGCCC advisor.
All students completing a career or technical program must complete an MGCCC Board-approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
